MISS HUMANITY

Book and Lyrics by Michael DiGaetano
Music by Jonathon Lynch

A Hollywood Tale of the Seven Deadly Sins..
(...although not so much sloth)

“Because there wasn’t a sign that said no Jews on Santa’s lap,”

Carolyn Rogers has a passion for world peace which was one reason she was crowned Miss Humanity. That and her bird impersonations. At the suggestion of pageant host reality TV star Rainy Seacoast, Carolyn goes to Hollywood where she could have a bigger platform to promote her goal. She does and five years after Rainy introduced her to his powerful agent Devin Levin, Carolyn is a major movie star. But after five years of making the same princess or cheerleader movie over and over, her desire to bring world peace has taken a back seat. So she tells her agent she won’t make another movie until he finds her a war to end. Not wanting to see his top client embarrassed, blown up in a war zone or lose his ten percent of the twenty million he negotiated for her next picture, Devin makes up a war. That should work, right?
